Welfare Assistance Scheme for people on low income
In association with local Veterinary Surgeons the branch is able to offer financial assistance to people on means tested benefits.
This is to assist those whose pet/s may need urgent veterinary treatment but are financially unable to pay for the treatment
at present. We are here to help, please ask!
Owners are sometimes asked to pay half the normal veterinary practice fee, all situations are individual and as such will be
dealt with on an individual basis.
Due to limited branch funds we are only able to offer help to people
in receipt of the following benefits:
Council Tax Benefit
Housing Benefit
Income Support
Job Seekers' Allowance
The branch reserves the right to request proof of benefit receipt.
