Shop volunteer vacancies
A variety of retail based volunteers are needed for our new Charity Shop in Chester -le-Street.
Volunteers are needed to cover the following 4 hour shifts in the shop
Mondays- Saturdays 9 am - 1pm
Mondays - Saturdays 1pm - 5pm
Applicants can apply for one or more shifts on any given day.

We get help at our events from many sources, mainly volunteers however we also get help from local dog wardens and, as you can see, we get police help. All volunteers are invaluable to us and we could not continue what we do without their help.
We exceeded our 2009 target of microchipping 1000 animals and actually chipped in excess of 3,500 animals - with the help of our volunteers! Becoming a volunteer for us will have a direct impact on animal welfare in our area, you will also get out to meet new people and even make new friends!
